Corrective Care

Ladera Family & Sports ChiropracticThere are two phases of corrective care when correcting spinal subluxations. Phase one is called "Initial Intensive Care" or "Relief Care". The purpose of this phase is to get the patient feeling better as soon as possible by focusing on the cause of the symptoms. This phase can last from days to weeks depending on the patient.  Phase two is called "Strengthening Rehabilitation and Corrective Care". The purpose of this phase is to correct the underlying problem through a process of spinal adjustments.

During your Report of Findings, your doctor will outline a specific treatment plan for you. This will explain frequency and an estimate of total duration of care that will be necessary for you to complete these two phases of care depending on your health goals and based on your exam findings.
